Later on July 23, 2020, tinyBuild renamed Hello Guest to Hello Neighbor 2, on that exact same day, Alpha 1 of Hello Neighbor 2 released. We got radio silence for months until on June 13, 2020, Alpha 1 of Hello Guest released. This game was a part of an ARG that tinyBuild had mixed in with Secret Neighbor, to solve the ARG they had to complete in-game events (Secret Neighbor Mayak Event) and piece together codes and all this happened on the Secret Neighbor Discord over the span of 2 weeks. The site with the prototype game launcher appeared on Decem(Hello Guest Prototype) but was released to the public on January 5, 2020.
